Our Taste of Italy evening on May 17 was a huge success, and we now have photos of the evening on the website.
Special thanks to our resident wine expert, Greg Tonian, who brought some wonderful wines. We also tasted Italian wines provided by many of the people who attended the evening, giving us a great selection to choose from — whites, reds, sparkling, and even dessert wine. Greg also gave us a lot of valuable information about Italian wines.
The selection of food was great too, including some imported Italian provolone cheese, provided by Deacon Pete and his sister.
Donations from the evening were collected to provide a welcome basket to our new curate, Fr. Augustine Lee who joins us in June.
The vestry will be planning a wine tasting and food evening for our 2009 social calendar, so stay tuned. In the meantime, please enjoy photos of the evening, provided by Pat Greene.
